I’ve stayed at Marriott properties all over the country and around the world as a lifetime Titanium Elite member, and this is among the best. The spacious, updated rooms were spotless. The bar is beautiful, the club lounge is well stocked, and the location is both walkable and a quick ride from anywhere. The staff were fantastic. Pedro the manager went out of his way to look after us, and Nicolas at the front desk was a delight.

I didn’t expect a Sheraton to be this nice. The rooms were big and had everything we needed. The lobby, bar, and office areas were spacious and attractive. Carcara restaurant and Breeze bar had very good food and service, though I didn’t eat dinner at either.

This works really well as a conference hotel, with a great location and rooms that could use a little maintenance. Shops, restaurants, and entertainment are all within walking distance. Heather at Breeze is amazing, and her service is what earned Sheraton Phoenix Downtown five stars from me.

We had a great stay in town for the Fiesta Bowl. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. The location is perfect, and the lobby and lobby bar make a strong impression. We also enjoyed the food at the bar. One suggestion for corporate: the bathrooms need updating, and the shower needs repair.

I was here for an event this time and didn’t stay overnight. The common areas looked much as they did on my visit about two years ago, mostly clean and well maintained. The staff were polite. I remembered the restaurant being good, but this lunch buffet was pretty bland and short on options. The waffle fries tasted like they were from a frozen bag, the chicken skewers were okay but the onions and peppers lacked flavor, and the bean soup was merely fine, nothing special. I was also disappointed they didn’t have non-alcoholic beer at the bar, but what can you do. 🤷♂️
