The young man at the front desk wearing a bow tie was excellent. Check-in was crowded, but he was quick, efficient, and well mannered. The beds were good, and the Whirlpool tub was awesome. Breakfast was good, though they need more toasters. There’s a nice pool for kids, but the hot tub wasn’t hot. The neighborhood was so-so.

We had a perfect staycation, with friendly, helpful staff and shopping and dining nearby. The room was fantastic, and I loved the old Spanish style of the buildings and decor. Having a private hot tub in the king-sized room was just amazing. I’ll be back again and again.

The service was superb, especially when our expected 11 p.m. airport shuttle pickup for our grandchildren ran into a problem. Nancy at the front desk handled it with consideration and efficiency. Manager Jeff then drove us to and from the airport that night, with a wonderful attitude and a lot of consideration. Thank you, Jeff and Nancy! The rooms were clean and nice, the breakfast was good and plentiful, and the Garden Fountain area was lovely. Our grandchildren took lots of pictures.

The suite with the jet tub was dirty, as was the tub itself, and the room phone didn’t work when I tried to call the front desk. I reported both issues in person, and housekeeping came to clean. But the next morning, housekeeping staff gathered outside our room, apparently using the area as a hangout hub. When I asked about it, the front desk said it was because our room was next to the housekeeping office. I was paying for one of their most expensive rooms, and didn’t think that should be my problem. That night, a couple next door played music and sang along until 1 a.m. When we checked out and moved to the Hilton the next morning, we were credited for the two nights we didn’t stay. We were told we should have called the front desk about the music, but the room phone still didn’t work. I’d never stay here again. The Hilton was nicer, quieter, cleaner, and less expensive.

The Extended Stay room was clean and came with a full-size fridge, dishes, pots, and pans. I stayed five nights, and each day included a full self-serve breakfast. There’s a hot tub by the pool, friendly and helpful staff, and laundry on site. They’re remodeling the Quality Inn section. I’ll be back shortly and would definitely recommend it.
