The first room was in pretty rough shape, with missing paint, broken things in a closet, and a strong smoke smell. I went to the office so they’d know it smelled like that before I arrived, and so I wouldn’t be charged for it. They moved me to another room, which was much nicer and perfectly satisfactory. It had hot water in the shower, a decent range of cable channels, a good desk and chair, and everything seemed fairly clean.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The photos make it look better than it really is, and the furniture feels poorly made, like it might break if you hit it hard enough. The beds are set up with two different box springs and then a mattress. I was quoted one price and told a different one the next day. There’s no microwave or mini fridge. The AC made a sound like rain the whole time, and a cut in the blinds let the morning sun shine right in and blind me. The bathroom is big, but the exhaust fan didn’t work and it got hot when you were using it. The walls had patches that weren’t painted, and the Wi-Fi kept kicking me off after a while. I’d spend more for a better hotel somewhere else.

The owner and his wife were really helpful and understanding, and the place was clean and tidy. I needed a room at the last minute, even though they were fully booked, and they found a way to fit me in. Since I arrived late, they also let me stay until 4:15 the next day without an extra charge. It was a little pricey at $140 for one night, and the microwave had no nearby plug, so I had to move it to use it. I’m not picky, though, and I’d recommend them for the service.

There wasn’t even a toilet seat, and I found dead bugs in the shower. The walls and ceiling had something on them I couldn’t identify, the blankets had burn marks, and there was just one towel on the counter. The TVs looked like they were from the 80s. We booked the “suite,” which had a closet without a door and a small desk room that felt more like a walk-in closet. Its chair was ripped up. The place was filthy, and someone else was already asking to switch rooms while my boyfriend was in the office trying to get our money back. I took pictures. The staff were rude and didn’t handle complaints. They asked us for a deposit, but I can’t see why. This place should be shut down. I honestly don’t know how it’s still open. Please stay away.
