Country Hearth Inn and Suites - Piedmont

The room was dirty, and the beds and furniture had cigarette burns and someone's hair on them. They weren't even made properly, the sheets were just thrown on upside down and didn't smell clean. The one towel we got was stained. The fridge didn't work, the TV didn't work, and only some lights did. The heat was out, and the shower pressure was so strong it hurt while the water was barely warm. The key card only worked sometimes. After we paid, we were told we weren't allowed to flush toilet paper, so we had to put it in the trash after wiping. People walked around outside most of the night, and we saw at least one person waving a gun around.

This motel wasn't clean, and it definitely wasn't worth $75 a night.

The room was clean, the service was great, and management was super friendly and accommodating. This place seems much safer now. I heard the police department has done a great job keeping the riff raff and druggies away. It's under new ownership, and they seem to be managing it quite well!

The manager or owner was nice, but that's about it. There were bed bugs everywhere, and we couldn't even stay the night. We had to leave as soon as we could. The price was okay, but not worth sharing the bed with crawling critters. The walls and carpet had mystery stains all over, the microwave didn't work, and the refrigerator barely worked. We had two singles and one double for our family, and it was a waste of almost 200 bucks. There were no phones or lights, only two bedside lamps and a small one in the bathroom. We'd rather drive farther out of town and stay somewhere cleaner.
