Our morning flight was canceled, and the front desk let us stay in the room until 3 pm. They were so friendly and helpful. I’ve never had a hotel do that for us before.

The breakfast area was really dirty, and in the morning there were people ahead of me dealing with bugs in their room. The woman at the desk was getting yelled at, so I didn’t want to bring up my own problem. I checked in at 11 pm and saw a notice saying the water had to be boiled before drinking. The city was working on the street, so I asked if they could give me a few bottles of water. They said no, and that I’d have to buy it from the vending machine or leave the property to get some. I’ve called several times since, but nobody has returned my calls. Corporate says it’s a local problem. Nobody seems to care.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed and TV were good. The hotel itself needs updating and maintenance. There was an odor from the sink drain, worn towels, no soap, lights that didn’t work, and no shower bars. There were no accessible rooms or elevators. The fridge had no shelves, the toilet was sluggish, the drapes had an issue, and the coffee cups didn’t have lids that fit.

I came back for another stay and left a few hours later after getting bed bug bites all over my body. Don’t stay here. The first time, my flight was due in around 11 pm. I called earlier to let them know, but when I got to the hotel, nobody was there or answering the phone so I could check in. I had to cancel and go to the Country Inn and Suites, which was much better anyway.
