Country Cascades Waterpark Resort

The water park is top notch, with fun slides for the whole family, and the outdoor area has lots of seating. We’ve gotten so used to enjoying the hotel that we hardly go anywhere else, usually coming five or six times a year. It’s not a vacation until we see Kelly, Tye, or Jonathan. Every staff member we’ve dealt with, from housekeeping to the front desk, has been wonderful and friendly. The pizza, coffee, ice cream, and bakery snacks are all great, and breakfast at Granny Cluckets is a must.

There have been lots of upgrades since our last visit four years ago, and the price covers water play, which other places don’t include. We stayed around Christmas, and the kids had activities all day, including a room scavenger hunt with a treasure chest full of goodies. Everyone was kind and the service was great. When one of our little ones got sick and we couldn’t stay the extra night we’d paid for, they refunded it and were very nice about it. The rooms are a good size for the price. The bakery food and coffee were great, but the pizza and breakfast were overpriced and tasted terrible.

We picked this hotel for two nights in Pigeon Forge because we have toddlers, and it worked out really well. There were activities every hour and lots for the kids to do without leaving the hotel. The pool and waterslides were fun, the staff were all nice, and our room was clean and pleasant.

It’s right in the middle of pigeon forge, just off a side street near The Island and the Leconte Center, and we’d absolutely stay again. The rooms and food were great, and the staff were involved and attentive. The activities team was wonderful, especially the dance parties with Ty before bed. Maggie, Cathy, and Kelly spent at least 30 minutes helping my girl pick out special rocks. Even the store employee let me in to get emergency supplies five minutes after closing.
