The smell gave me a headache, and I won't be back. Howard Johnson by Wyndham, Pikesville, should be demolished. The beds and sheets were dirty, with marks that looked like cigarette burns. It took several trips and two elderly men before they found a sheet without a burn. This place has no stars in my book. They should take the website photos down and replace them with recent ones. I'll be telling my friends about this awful experience.

We booked a single night months in advance while passing through, but the accommodation fell short in every way. Tobacco smoke, and sometimes weed, smelled overwhelming. The decor and bedding weren't acceptable, and though breakfast was included, we chose McDonald's across the road. A local we spoke to there also shared reasons to avoid the property. Like other reviewers, I'd say stay away if you can. Can't give it zero stars.

The room wasn't cleaned, and basic things like the outlets and door didn't work. I don't understand how this dump can operate and charge for what's offered. Breakfast amounted to coffee, juice, and a granola bar. It needs a thorough cleaning and a full remodel. I would not recommend staying here.

My mom is visiting family and staying at this Howard Johnson's in Pikesville, M.D. What she showed me on her camera phone and told me was awful. There were stains on the bed blankets, holes in the bathroom door and walls, and no clock or phone in the room. She said the chair felt like sitting on a brick wall. Charging $80 for a room in that condition is shameful. From what she described, it wasn't worth $8.
