The bathtub looked filthy, with black patches and what might have been peeling paint. It was also slippery, with no nonslip protection, and there was no towel rack. After I shut the bathroom door, I couldn't open it from inside because it had no hardware, so I had to yell for my wife to push it open. I'd taken photos of the problems, including the missing drawer handles and broken wall fixtures, which I pointed out because I was worried about the security deposit. The room lights wouldn't come on, apart from the bathroom light. The manager tried and said she'd get new bulbs, but after dinner they still didn't work, so we left the bathroom light on. There was just one hand towel and one washcloth, and no soap, so I went to the front desk for supplies. The bed had a sheet, a blanket, then another sheet, and we turned the top layers around. We had a decent room on 5/24/2023, but there was no breakfast during renovations. I assumed it would be available when I made this reservation, though they were still renovating. The assigned room, #103, was a disaster. Its door was bolted shut, so we had to enter through room #101. I'll be posting reviews and reporting what I consider fraud and health and safety hazards to the proper government agencies.

We only stayed because we were exhausted from moving back to town. The first room was filthy and cost far too much. The AC stopped working three minutes after we arrived, and I had to ask for a shower curtain, towels, and blankets. The walls looked like cigarettes had been put out on them, and the door was badly damaged. We switched rooms, but the next one was only a little better. Don't stay here.

I took videos of the moldlike mark on the wall and the tiny roaches crawling over the counters, floor, and even inside my shoes. Bugs were in my bed too, and I got bitten by something. Since it was only one full night, I bought cleaning supplies at the store because I couldn't imagine the other rooms being any better. When I told the front desk, they offered me a free night but said there'd be no refund since I booked through a third party. I appreciate the offer, but I wouldn't stay again after that.

Our cat got herself into the bed frame last night, and we thought she'd found her way out. When we told the hotel, several staff members pitched in to search for her. The place makes up in other ways for what it may lack. The staff are amazing, and it's pet friendly.
