The Landmark Hotel

The bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, though very small. The rest of the place felt run down. The hall carpets were dirty and smelled bad, and our room had a strange odor that eased a little once we turned on the A/C. We booked based on the high ratings on Booking.com and Expedia, but came away regretting the choice. We were exhausted, so we stayed anyway. This hotel needs major renovations.

Stacie is the greatest, she does a fabulous job. The staff are the best, and the place is wonderful with excellent prices.

The rates are reasonable, the rooms are clean, and the staff is amazing. Plus, you can walk to restaurants. I love staying here, I LOVE THIS PLACE.

I had a balcony room on the 4th floor, with a pretty view over the back parking lot toward the hillside. The foggy mornings made it especially nice. I was in town for a funeral and stayed three nights. The staff were very friendly, and housekeeping kept the room clean and comfortable. The hotel is older and a bit outdated, though renovations were underway and didn't bother me. I barely noticed any noise from the work. New carpet, white paint, and brighter bulbs could help freshen the rooms, if the owners can manage those changes. It sits on a busy street, so expect ordinary traffic noise, but it's handy for convenience stores, a gas station, a bank next door, and fast food. There's also a restaurant on the 4th floor. I didn't eat there and didn't hear noise from it. At half the price of the Holiday Inn down the road, the Landmark felt like a safe, comfortable place to sleep, shower, and get on with the day.
