We booked this place specifically because it had a pool, but nobody mentioned that it was “closed for the season.” In the bar, a Long Island Ice Tea would have cost $26 because each shot was charged at $6. The walls were so thin that the dog next door barked on and off all night, and there was trash outside, including old air units and a big dumped bag. Our room had dead bugs on the floor, a smoke detector dangling by its wires inside a plastic bag secured with a bungy hair tie, and locks that needed to be screwed back in because I could wiggle the door open. One of our two keys quit working after 12 hours, and although we had booked for four, we got just three towels. During check-in, the person at the counter stayed on her personal phone. Our neighbors said their room had been gone through while they were out and their belongings were scattered on the floor. When they spoke to the front desk, they were told staff could enter a room anytime. The staff changed their position after the neighbors said they would call the cops if anything was missing. Luckily, we know from traveling not to leave valuables in a room. We won't stay here again.

We chose this hotel for the pool so the kids could have something to do, but the room was filthy. There was a huge stain on our mattress, stains on the pillowcases, and dirty towels that I only noticed when I was getting out of the shower. My kids even brought me a cockroach trap. The shower rod was coming loose from the wall. At check-in, the front desk person stayed on their phone. When our friends raised an issue with the staff, they were extremely disrespectful. They also said they could enter the room whenever they wanted, even with a do not disturb sign on the door. Don't leave your belongings there.

My mom died, and the website kept kicking me out at 11:54 pm when I tried to cancel. I had until midnight to cancel free, and I emailed the next morning to explain that the site issue wasn't my fault. They still took my money and didn't care. I've stayed here 100 times and am a regular, especially since there aren't many places out in the middle of nowhere. But I'm done coming three times a month. I'll drive an extra 15 minutes to stay somewhere less money hungry. That's how you lose regular customers.

The continental breakfast was a joke, there were no napkins or juice, and nobody was around to ask about the missing things. I was really disappointed. The price was great, but you do get what you pay for. I reserved a spa suite, and there was no plug to fill it up. When I asked at the front desk, they told me to use a rag as a plug.

We left around midnight and found somewhere else to stay. I had my mother and daughter with me, and after we got back and actually looked around, the sheets were dirty, the walls were disgusting with boogers on them, there was blood on the AC Unit, and the carpets were grungy and gross. We had booked because we were attending a concert nearby, but the place was so gross we couldn't stay. When I went downstairs to ask for a refund, the guy somehow already knew which room I was in. He laughed when I said I wanted my money back and told me it wasn't going to happen. I would not recommend this place. Also, there's a prison across the street.
