The desk staff are kind and friendly, and the breakfast starts at 6, which works well for my cross-country drives on I-80. I stop here a couple of times a year. The place feels updated and is very clean, plus it welcomes dogs. There aren't many restaurants close by, especially on Sunday evenings when most are shut. Passing through then, your options may be Subway or a saloon. Luckily, the rooms have a fridge and microwave, so bringing your own food is easy.

Currie's restaurant is right across the parking lot, and we found it excellent and reasonably priced. We needed somewhere at the last minute on I-80 with our two little kids, and the Cobblestone turned out to be a gem. The whole hotel felt welcoming and was superbly clean. Everything about the stay went perfectly, and it was much better than anywhere we stayed in Cheyenne. I wish more hotels were like this one.

The coffee was great, and the breakfast was the usual hotel kind. Both the rooms and the outside were the cleanest lodging I've seen. Staff were positive and professional, and the amenities felt like what you usually only get at pricey hotels in cities. The beds were really comfortable. Even my frenchie gave the bed its approval!

Our vehicle broke down during our stay on May 27, 2026, but the staff were so empathetic and amazing, especially Delany (SP) and Rose. The room was really nice, quiet, and clean. I couldn't have asked for better from the facilities or the people. Wish I could give them more than five stars!

They even called about an hour after I checked in to see whether the room was okay. The bed was comfortable, the room incredibly clean, and the hotel is very dog friendly. I rarely think a hotel has earned five stars, since there's usually some issue with a dirty bathroom, a hard-to-find location, or poor soundproofing. None of that was a problem here. It's a gem and I'd highly recommend it. If you're on a road trip and debating it, just book the room. The price makes that extra check-in call all the more surprising.
