Rodeway Inn Marietta near Dobbins ARB Hotel

My husband and I got a full refund through Expedia and went elsewhere. The room had no smoke alarm, and we couldn't find fire extinguishers where they were supposed to be. The comforter had at least 50 cigarette burn holes, plus spots that looked like semen and feces. The bathroom door was broken and had holes in it. The AC barely worked and sounded ready to break. We could hear every sound from a family with what sounded like at least five loud children nearby. The TV was so tiny you'd need binoculars to see it. Sticky dried fluid covered the floor, the shower was yellow instead of white, and the toilet had feces and urine on it. When my husband pulled back the dirty sheets, he found bedbugs all over them. Outside, people were fighting over beer and drugs, and a man approached us right away to ask if we wanted to buy drugs. This is the most disgusting hotel we've ever been to. Don't come here if you expect to be safe. It was horrible, and I'd rather sleep by the side of the road than spend a night there. This place needs to be condemned.

Check-in was quick and easy, though the front desk staff weren't especially friendly. They weren't rude either. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, as was the hotel overall, and the area seemed safe. It was a good stay, and I'd recommend it.

They put us in a second-floor room at the back even though first-floor rooms near the front were available. It reeked of cigarette smoke, was dirty, and had holes in the walls. The bed had only a nasty brown blanket with stains and holes that didn't even cover it, and there was no bedspread. The mini fridge didn't work. We complained and got a first-floor room, which was a little better, but still badly damaged, with holes, a dirty couch, poor bedding, and not much cleanliness. The place was nasty inside and out, and service and hospitality were poor. Never again.

The room was disgusting. We found several cockroaches as soon as we walked in, and one sheet on the bed had red stains. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place.
