For about $70, the room was decent, quiet enough for a night's sleep, and fairly spacious and clean. It had no bugs or smoke smell, the location was good, and parking was free. One side of the building faced away from the highway, so I was glad to have the quieter room. I booked through Booking.com and specifically requested a room facing away from traffic. The first room faced the highway, so I asked to change rooms. The new key card wouldn't work. I went up and down in the elevator around six times, unsure whether it was the card or a dead lock battery, before the receptionist came up with a tool, opened the door from outside, and replaced the batteries. I'm glad I changed rooms because it was much quieter. As others mentioned, the sink faucet was too close to the edge. I would've given five stars if they hadn't charged a $10 room change fee without telling me. That's what mostly frustrates me about the stay.

We got there around midnight after booking at the last minute. The front desk was very nice and had us in the room quickly. It was clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was stocked and clean too. Breakfast was great, with hot, fresh bacon, eggs, sausage gravy, biscuits, waffles, bread goods, fruit, and yogurt. Definitely a great stay.

For the price, I thought things were fine, and I'd stay again on my next trip. I recommend the hotel if you're just passing through, and I wish it the best. There are a few things I'd like to see improved, and I'd give it five stars if they were addressed. Smells from tobacco or marijuana inside the building filtered into rooms and made things uncomfortable for people sensitive to strong odors. I think smoking inside should be prohibited. Breakfast was good but could use more options, like oatmeal and milk, and the grits today were a bit undercooked. When I went to the gym for water, the dispenser wasn't working. They're details that could be fixed. đź«

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the gym was good too. The front desk staff were helpful when we arrived, and R. Khan was helpful when we checked out. We had a great one-night stay at the Atlanta-Marietta Ballpark hotel.

Jahni is wonderful on the overnight shift at Best Western. He's welcoming, attentive, and good at solving problems. Guests feel comfortable talking to him, and he makes sure people feel safe and looked after. You can tell he cares about giving guests great service.
