White Columns Motel

The rooms were very clean, and it’s a quiet spot close to a really good pizza place. There was a table and chairs outside to use in the morning or evening when it wasn’t too hot. The owner and the housekeeping woman were both friendly, and you can tell they take pride in the motel. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.

I had some doubts about the room because it’s an older motel, but it was so clean. The bed was comfortable and had good linens, and the bathroom was spotless. The owner was welcoming and helped me with ideas for places to eat and visit. The price was right, especially compared with other places nearby. I’d definitely come back.

The motel was conveniently close to everything, and although it wasn’t fancy, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The continental breakfast was good, though yogurt or fruit alongside the bagels would have been appreciated. The coffee was great, and our little Yorkie felt right at home. We stayed the week between Christmas and New Year’s in 2015, and all the staff went out of their way to help us. The owner was very friendly and gave us useful tips on restaurants, attractions, and places to see beautiful scenery and valleys.

The outside might put you off at first, but inside we found a safe, clean motel. The owner was sweet and accommodating, making sure our needs were met. Our room was cute, with green space outside, and the location was great near the wonderful local parks. We had a very positive stay and will definitely return.
