Buck Springs Resort

The cabins were clean and cozy, and I loved the kitchen and all its appliances. It got cold enough in the evenings that we needed heat, but the bedroom heater worked so well we didn’t need to leave it on all night. I was glad I could bring my husky somewhere with cooler weather. We were there for a wedding, and it was great that the whole wedding party could have the entire place, more than 10 cabins, to ourselves. I’d definitely like to come back for a family vacation.

The manager looked after our needs really well, and our large group was able to get a discount. The weather was surprisingly nice for midsummer in Arizona, and even the rain didn’t spoil our fun. The building seems pretty new, and the rooms and kitchens were well kept. I appreciated the laminate floors and the multiple bathrooms. I wasn’t keen on the unfinished wood baseboards and door frames, though that may just be my opinion.

We’ve just wrapped up two nights here and would come back. The cabins sit in a beautiful, quiet, well-kept setting, with lots of trees for shade. There are barbeques, pits, and comfortable places to sit outside together. The cabins are simply furnished but have what you need, including modern appliances.

The cabins feel like a home, and we really enjoyed the design and using the fireplace. Kevin, who runs the place, was helpful, checked in on us, and gave us directions to hiking trails. We loved the forest setting away from the main roads, which felt private. The beds were uncomfortable, though. We asked Kevin to pass that message along to the owner, and hopefully they’ll address it. This was our first stay here, and we loved the place.
