The room wasn’t very clean, with cup stains on the nightstand. I left my sneakers behind and called right after leaving to ask them to hold them, but the “head housekeeper” said she hadn’t seen them. Be careful, they’ll still your stuff‼️

I was uncomfortable the whole time and left frustrated and disappointed. The room shouldn’t have been rented in this condition. I won’t return, and I’d caution others before booking. The furniture was in terrible shape. The pullout couch, chairs, bench, and bed all looked old, worn, and neglected. In the bathroom, the tub had visible rust and the toilet barely flushed. As soon as I walked in, there was a strong mold smell coming from the A/C. I checked the filters, and they were filthy, clearly not cleaned or changed in a long time. That’s a serious health concern. The poor maintenance and lack of basic standards were obvious.

I used to consider this a fair place to stay, and I’d been here several times. This latest visit changed my mind. The bedskirt was soiled, which is unacceptable housekeeping, and the room had a neglected, run-down feel. Lights by the bed and sink didn’t work, the couch was worn with a visible cut in its back, and a nightstand handle was broken. The poor cleaning and maintenance mean I can’t recommend it anymore, and I won’t book here again.

A good choice for a Carowinds trip, and good for the price at around 150 USD a night. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The included hot breakfast had scrambled eggs, sausage, hot cakes, and grits.
