Update: Veronica, or whatever her name is, keeps harassing people who are quiet and minding their own business, then puts it in a report. The hotel is too expensive for how run down it is. My calm, well-behaved pets got me treated like a criminal, and staff even threatened to call the cops over nothing. It felt like harassing customers was their full-time job. If you like being treated like a number and your pets being treated as a problem, this is the place for you. Everyone else, run. It was bad business with zero tact or common sense, and I think they don't deserve to be in business. The employees seem underpaid and overworked too, so maybe treat them better than paying guests. If you value your pets, your sanity, or basic human decency, stay far away.

We had to ask Cristina, the bartender, for menus before we could eat. She complained when a customer ordered a Jameson Tall, and we couldn't find any bartender for 15 minutes. When we finally did, she didn't know how to make any drinks. The food was overpriced, and there weren't many choices on the menu. This was the worst service I've ever had, and I won't be going back with my family.

We arrived after Burning Man, two respectful women in our early 40s, desperate for a shower and a real bed, but this room wasn't going to work. We'd booked for Monday Sep 1 and were sent across the street. The stairs immediately gave me a bad feeling, like being in a horror movie. Once inside, I was convinced we'd either leave with bedbugs, the best case, or as murder victims, the more likely one. In our double room there was just one light besides the bedside lamp, a terrifying bright fluorescent one. The air conditioner sounded haunted, there were no toiletries, and there were no towels. That was the last straw. We grabbed our things and ran without even calling to ask for towels. I quickly rented a room at the Inn up the street instead. I didn't bother asking for a refund because I figured it was a lost cause. Best decision of the night. Take it from me, don't make my mistake.

The women at the front desk were a bit too sarcastic for me. I'd driven late at night, had young kids, and just wanted answers so I could get them out of the car. Still, for what it is, this place is great value. Other hotels in the area cost almost twice as much, and I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.
