We stayed in the Retreat Room upstairs. It was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had an enormous soaker tub. The gas fireplace didn’t seem to work, and I found Sling TV hard to use since nothing would load past the guide. Neither problem took too much away from the stay, though. The Rosemary House was my first bed and breakfast experience, and I enjoyed it. There’s no hot meal, but the dining room is stocked with included snacks, drinks, and breakfast options, more than enough for us. It’s a short walk to downtown Pittsboro and several good places to eat. The communal sitting room is lovely, though a few more games or activities would make it even better. There wasn’t staff onsite, which didn’t bother me. The owners were easy to reach by text and quick to respond to questions or requests. Keypad locks on all the doors helped the place feel safe. I’d recommend staying here.

Our guests who stayed at the Rosemary House loved the rooms, décor, and convenient Pittsboro location. I didn’t stay overnight myself, but hosted a baby shower there and couldn’t be happier with how it went. We needed somewhere with lodging and a welcoming event space for out-of-town guests, and the property fit perfectly. Kristi and Tyann were wonderful to work with from the time I booked a couple of months ahead. They suggested caterers, cake and cupcake options, florists, and more. Having tables, chairs, tableware, and other essentials already on site made planning much easier. When anything changed, Kristi communicated clearly and got in touch promptly, which kept the process stress-free. Tyann, the event coordinator, was welcoming and accommodating whenever we needed to stop by or had a question. I highly recommend the Rosemary House for a stay or an event. The experience exceeded my expectations, and I’m sure others would enjoy it too.

The house has beautiful wood floors, lovely craftsmanship details, and art for sale throughout, so it feels like stepping back in time. From there, it’s just steps to downtown Pittsboro’s shops and restaurants. The large wraparound porch was a great place to sip wine and chat with friends, and my room was just right. It’s also centrally located for visiting the Asheboro Zoo, pottery shops, Fearrington House Restaurant, and Carolina Tiger Rescue. I had a wonderful stay.

The Rosemary House was beyond what we expected, and we’ll definitely be back soon. We spent one night in the Retreat Room, which was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The fireplace worked great and made it so warm we opened the windows to cool things down. The fridge and cupboard were well stocked, and we didn’t want for anything. It’s a quiet, restful place just steps from a charming little town with great shops and restaurants. The local coffee shop and bakery was better than phenomenal. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay.

The porch was perfect for hours of chatting, relaxing, and reconnecting with my mother. We take an annual Mother’s Day trip, and this year we wanted to see Fearrington village. I looked for somewhere nearby to stay and was thrilled to find this house. It felt cozy and inviting, with eccentric local art throughout, and the pieces were for sale, which is a great way to promote local artists. We had the best time and can’t wait to return.
