We came in on motorcycles during a rainstorm, and at first there was nobody around to check us in. I hadn't realized registration was at the Sports Club Motel up the street. The manager got us into the room through a key box, then drove over with the papers we needed to sign. The full kitchen and full-size fridge were a great surprise, and the room was neat and very clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom was small and had only a shower, but it was worth the minor hassle. We specifically wanted a kitchenette, so this worked out well.

The room was dirty, the beds were really uncomfortable, and there wasn't any breakfast. Even the lobby coffee was cold, and the price felt way too high. I need to correct my earlier post, though: it was about Super 8, not K-D Inn Motel. Sorry, K-D Inn.

The bright spot was the staff at the sister motel. They were warm, helpful, and had a good sense of humor. Getting registered meant going about four blocks to that other motel, though, and my room had no soap, phone, fridge, or microwave. I didn't try the Wi-Fi.
