Home2 Suites by Hilton Wayne, NJ

Our room was spacious, clean, and really nice, and breakfast was great for families. The coffee was fresh and hot each morning. We chose the hotel for its pool and because it was close to American dream Mall, where we had a wonderful time celebrating our daughter's birthday at Nickelodeon universe. Unfortunately, the pool was a huge letdown: the water was cold and cloudy and had far too much chlorine. It left our eyes bright red and irritated our skin with burning. The pool shower didn't work, and the pool bathroom was very dirty.

Finding the place can be tricky because GPS missed the last turn and told me to keep heading north. Call the hotel and they'll help with directions. Once there, we found plenty of parking, and MeadowBrook Mall is five minutes away, with a bus that goes directly to the Port Authority in New York City. Our suite was spotless and spacious enough for all six of us to sleep comfortably. It had a mini kitchen with a full-size fridge, real dishes, a dishwasher, microwave, sink, and all the supplies we needed. The staff were very friendly, checked in on us, and provided everything we asked for. Breakfast was excellent, with lots to choose from, including real biscuits, sausages, bacon, tater tots, fresh hard-boiled eggs that were still hot, mini egg quiches, and English muffins. There's also an indoor pool open until 10:00pm.

Home2Suite in Wayne, NJ was my BEST HOTEL STAY experience EVER, and I'd love to stay again. Jackie at the front desk was just awesome, the staff were friendly, and my room was cozy and clean. It was hard to access and find the hotel, but everything else made this stay a 10-plus for me.

I don't often find a hotel that gets everything right, but this one did. It was extremely clean, smelled great, and had a low pet fee. The housekeeping staff were kind and easy to approach. Jackie at the front desk went above and beyond, too. I wasn't feeling great and called to ask whether they had cold medicine at the desk. She brought some right to my door without me asking. She also made handling my accommodations seamless. I really appreciate the hospitality here.
