Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh-Downtown

For a quick Pittsburgh trip, the staff made this a great stay. The front desk team were helpful and pleasant when we arrived, and the room was clean and well kept. The location is clutch if you're mainly visiting the Strip District, just a short walk from most of its main hub areas. The indoor pool and hot tub were clean, which was a plus for the kids. Breakfast was better than expected and stayed well stocked.

Holly at the front desk made a great first impression. She checked us in early, was welcoming and helpful, and had good suggestions for places to visit in the neighborhood. She also offered to help with anything we needed. The rooms were normal Hampton Inn rooms, clean and tidy with the usual accommodations. Later, after our evening out, it was storming and the hotel lot was full. The night desk clerk, whose name I didn't catch, came out into the rain with me to point out extra spaces. He stayed until I parked, offered to help unload the car, and made sure I got back inside safely. Fantastic service. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and really clean, and the hotel itself felt modern and well kept. We found it easy to drive in and out, with a clean, safe lot and free parking. We also walked over to the Strip District to shop and took a quick Lyft/Uber to the stadium. We booked late because a chance to see a Steelers game came up, and the rate was a pleasant surprise for game day in Pittsburgh. Check-in was warm and friendly. At checkout the woman barely looked up or acknowledged us, though she may simply have been busy. We’d happily stay here again.

Holly at the front desk made a difficult time much easier for me. She was such a bright spot, and I’m grateful to her and the rest of the staff for everything. The hotel is beautiful and clean, and I felt very comfortable during my stay.
