The Mansion at Maple Heights

The beds were comfortable, and our room was clean and beautiful. The mansion itself is lovely, and the staff were so friendly. When we arrived, they welcomed us warmly and gave us a tour, pointing out historic features of the home. We'll definitely come back for another stay.

We stayed in the executive suite. It was lovely, especially the bathroom, though personally I'd have preferred to book the smaller room next door since the suite had a lot of wasted space. Still, this place is a winner, and I'll return. The converted mansion B&B is gorgeous, with beautifully cared-for woodwork, original leaded glass windows in the lobby, hand-laid tile in the entry, and a stunning Italian crystal chandelier. The home is full of history, with little surprises like hidden speak easy panels. A lovely woman greeted us graciously and gave us a detailed tour.

The complimentary breakfast was really good, and the place felt cozy and comfortable. It’s also an easy walk to the shopping district, which made for a great stay for couples. Some areas are being renovated, understandably given the building’s age. If you have time, take the historic tour.

The room was comfortable and very clean, and we started our visit with fresh chocolate chip cookies and a tour of the beautiful mansion. I enjoyed hearing about its history, though the tour is optional if that’s not your thing. We had a great experience.
