Clear River Inn

The tavern was fantastic, and the staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating. Our room felt welcoming and had everything I needed, including a comfy bed and great linens. It was clean and well maintained. The hospitality here stands out more than any fancy amenities.

After driving up from Florida, we got caught in a bad snowstorm in New York and were glad to find a warm room on a last-minute trip. The bar and restaurant were very good, and the chicken pot pie was delicious. Having them right nearby was especially convenient in that weather, since we could just walk over. The woman at the front desk was amazing and helped us with everything. The owner even lent us his window scraper, which we Florida folks hadn’t thought to bring. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back.

The beds were so comfortable, the place was clean, and everyone was kind. After a long day at Killington Resort, the Tavern was a great spot for dinner and drinks. Shout-out to Buffy the bartender. We booked at the last minute with my boyfriend and ended up loving it, so we’re already making plans to return next Presidents’ Weekend.

The tavern out back is a nice spot for a drink or a meal, and I had a really nice weekend here. Breakfast could be a bit better, though it’s more of a grab-and-go setup. You can hear people walking around, and loud neighbors come through the walls. Still, the room had a bed and shower, which was what I needed, and I’ll be back for my next stay.
