The staff were welcoming and friendly the whole time, and our room attendant was especially thoughtful and attentive. I wish we'd caught her name so we could thank her directly. The rooms were very clean and had nice updates that made everything feel fresh and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly come again.

This was my third stay, and I'll be back. Having Erie Grill right on site is a real bonus. It's also a great base for local spots: Shoen Place is across the way, and Pittsford Dairy is nearby, with the Erie Canal area close by too. There are plenty of good food options around. Always a pleasure.

Just minutes from Rochester, and the location is great. The place was super clean and quiet, with very polite, welcoming staff and top notch housekeeping.

The hotel has modern, updated décor throughout, and most of what I checked looked pretty clean. The bathroom had no mold on the ceiling or shower trim, the sink drained normally, and the sheets and towels were free of stains and hairs. I also checked under the sheets for bedbug marks and found none. A hard surface headboard is a good sign for resisting bedbugs. The one thing that cost it a star was a brown stain near the toilet flusher. It immediately made me feel dirty, since what else could a brown stain on a toilet be? I stayed one night for work.

Rochester has a nice mix of people and lots of food choices, while still feeling like a small town. It's a great place to visit, and I can't wait to come back. The Delmonte Renaissance Hotel was fantastic: cozy, in a wonderfully peaceful spot near a state park walking trail, with an excellent restaurant and spa. Shuttle service is available, the staff were efficient and friendly, and I had no complaints about room service.
