The bed sagged, the sheets were dirty, and I found bed bugs. The shower barely dripped water, and there were holes in the walls. The whole place felt dingy and unsettling. I travel often and stay in budget motels, so I expect some wear, but this was on another level. The front desk agent was rude and disgruntled, and the motel wasn't pet friendly despite claiming it was. My uncle, who lives nearby, said many homeless people frequent the area, which made it feel potentially unsafe. I wouldn't recommend staying here at all. Pay $20 more for somewhere much nicer. I wish I could give it negative stars.

Just a simple room with a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot, which was all I needed. Shower, TV, sleep. This little motor lodge has a quaint feel that brought back memories of when I was young.

The ADA room worked really well for me while I was recovering from major surgery and a broken leg, traveling with my big dog. I spent seven days mostly on bedrest in the room, and the accessibility made a big difference. The low bed was easy to get in and out of with my walker or wheelchair, and the large bathroom had bars around the toilet. The roll-in shower was a highlight, with a wide fold-down cushioned bench and a hose shower right beside it so I could wash easily while seated. The mattress was too firm for being on bedrest, about a 6/10 for me. A few small hardware fixes were needed too: all the shelf pegs in the bathroom medicine cabinet were broken, leaving just one usable shelf, and several dresser and nightstand drawer handles had come off, so about half the drawers couldn't be used. These seemed like quick, inexpensive repairs. The staff were friendly. The woman who works there full time, who I think is one of the owners, was kind to my dog, and the man, who I think is the owner, offered help when he noticed my broken leg. I also left something behind at checkout and they called me right away. There are two large grassy areas for walking dogs, with a dumpster nearby, though you'll need your own bags. I was happy with the rest of the room. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly through hours of remote video calls, the coffee maker, microwave, and fridge all worked, including its frozen small freezer compartment, and the air conditioner was good. I didn't use the modern big-screen TV. I'm sensitive to appliance noise, but the AC and fridge were quiet, and the neighborhood was peaceful too. Mostly I heard a soft traffic hum from the nearby highway, especially around 5 pm, which was almost relaxing. The touch lamp by the bed was easy to use and had three brightness settings. Blankets, pillows, and towels were good, and the tap water tasted good. The smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and fire alarms looked new and in excellent shape. Pharmacies, restaurants, and grocery stores were close enough for my family to bring me things easily. The positives were much more important than the minor drawbacks for my situation.

The manager has always been friendly, and there's a vending machine outside the office with packaged danish horns inside for breakfast. After staying here many times over the past ten years, I find it a decent little hotel. It's far enough up Broadway that you don't see the people hanging around the Grocery Outlet lot, so it feels a bit safer than the places farther down the road. They don't seem to dust, though. I've seen plenty of cobwebs, and on my last two stays the air conditioning wasn't working at all.

I paid $108 plus tax, which felt outrageous for the room quality. Wires were hanging from the ceiling, so the rooms didn't seem up to code. The free Wi-Fi didn't reach every room because some were too far from the office. It didn't work in ours, and as a result our TV couldn't play anything either.
