Comfort Inn Plano-Dallas

I kept coming back because the staff were friendly and cooperative at first. During my last stay, which lasted 26 nights, they cleaned my room just once. Every time I asked, they said they'd clean the checkout rooms first. What kind of hotel treats guests like that and neglects cleanliness? Management and customer retention are terrible. The hotel feels sketchy at night, is dirty, smells like weed, and the WiFi doesn't work. That was my last stay. I'm never coming back.

We got stuck in the lift, and that alone made the safety problems impossible to ignore. There is no proper lift, and the place shouldn't be operating as a hotel. We had no room service, towels, proper staff support, or basic hospitality. When we raised the service and safety problems and the overall poor conditions, staff called the police and made us leave immediately. They showed no respect, didn't apologize, and made no attempt to fix anything. Guests are treated like criminals instead of paying customers. It felt like negligence, with no sign that safety or customer service mattered. I strongly warn people away. Save your money, time, and safety. Authorities should inspect this place and shut it down before someone is seriously hurt.

The manager was rude, dismissive, and no help at all. There are two elevators, but only one works, and it breaks down half the time. That can leave you stranded or hauling luggage up the stairs. None of the key card locks on the exterior doors work, so everyone has to enter and leave through the front, even with a room key. There are no exterior lights, either. At night it's pitch black outside, which feels very unsafe. Water damage and black mold are spread all over the building, on walls, ceilings, carpets, everywhere. The parking lot and surrounding area are constantly full of homeless people. Apparently many were paying guests the manager evicted without warning or refund. From arrival, this Comfort Inn seemed to be falling apart and dangerously neglected. It's easily the worst hotel stay of my life, and I wish zero stars were an option. Avoid it at all costs. It's uncomfortable, hazardous, and poorly managed. Stay anywhere else.

The two gentlemen on the night shift were courteous and professional. The daytime staff member with glasses, the Hispanic gentleman, was lazy, unprofessional, and rude. Breakfast was terrible, with very few options and often unsanitary conditions. During my three nights here on a work trip, my room's peephole was missing and stuffed with tissue, the smoke detector had been ripped out, and the window was so dirty I could see out of only one side. I should have taken a photo. Definitely not worth the rate.
