The bed was cheap and uncomfortable, with springs, and I couldn't sleep because the neighbors were loud and kept waking me. On my first night, I saw a cockroach within an hour of arriving, then turned on the lights and found a bunch on the floor. The room itself was clean and didn't smell bad, but the shower barely put out any water and the toilet took special techniques to flush fully. A lot of people seem to live here with dogs, some with two. I kept feeling like something was crawling on my legs, and couldn't sleep. Arriving at night felt scary, like a movie drug house. I'm uncomfortable and can't wait to leave. Texas may be known for doing things bigger and better, but that's not always true. This place feels like a prison.

I got my money back in the end. Apparently there had been an issue between the manager and Expedia processing the refund. At first, though, I couldn't stay: the bathroom was flooded and there were roaches, so I left within five minutes of checking in and went elsewhere. The receptionist spoke with the manager, who promised a refund, but it still hadn't arrived after 10 days. I can't imagine where else the roaches were getting in.

I thought this was the best of all the red roof inn locations I'd stayed at. The room was clean, peaceful, and cozy, with no disturbances, and the stay was good overall. But while I was sitting on the toilet, a huge roach crawled up my foot and leg. Disgusting! The pool also needs to be cleaned up. Thank you.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It had a TV, AC, ice box, and microwave, plus a pool and a gazebo that probably seats about ten people. Great place, and if you're a Denny's fan, it's right next door.

At check-in they asked for a $50.00 deposit, despite how filthy and run down the place was. There was nothing left to damage that wasn't already torn up. I've stayed at plenty of hotels and motels, but this was the worst experience of my life. It was disgusting, dirty, and smelled horrible. They seem to put no money back into the place. I wouldn't even shower there; I went back to the truck stop to shower and start my day. If I'd been able to get my money back, I'd have slept in my truck. Never again. I'm highly disappointed in red roof for letting this place carry their name. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. DO NOT STAY HERE!
