Motel 6 Plano, TX - West - Frisco

My two cats stayed free, and the room had a fridge/freezer and microwave. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. You could hear other guests opening and shutting their doors, but at a reasonable price, that was understandable.

This is the cleanest Motel 6 I’ve known. No odd or bad smells, and security is very attentive when guests get noisy.

Roaches were crawling everywhere, and anything left out overnight might have bugs in it. Keep bags zipped and bring your own extra protection for the bed. There may be a bed bug infestation, so stay at your own risk. The place is dirty and dingy, with stained spots whose color you can’t even make out. The blankets have burn holes, the AC filters never get cleaned, and the air feels like it has mold spores. Towels still had other people’s hair on them, which looked like pubic hair. They clearly don’t believe in bleach. There’s black mold under the toilet rim, and who knows what else is growing in the bowl. I’d wear shower shoes before stepping on the floor. Run from this bug-infested, disease-giving Motel 6.

My husband and I stayed here for work for 7 weeks, and the staff were so accommodating with us. They had patience with us and were amazing with my puppy. I want to give the housekeepers special recognition, every one of them was sweet and kind. I’d recommend this motel.
