Baymont by Wyndham Plano

I’m a night owl and work nights, so having the fitness room open 24 hours is exciting. I sleep during the day and nobody disturbs me, which is a big plus. There’s also a washer and dryer on the second floor, so you don’t have to go to a laundromat. The deposit is reasonable, about half of what other places charge, and you get it all back as long as you return the towels and remote and don’t damage anything. Breakfast is delicious: muffins and bagels with cream cheese, pigs in a blanket, fried potatoes, waffles with regular and fat-free syrup, yogurt in different flavors, jelly and butter, regular and decaf coffee with flavored creamers, cereals, and bananas to cut up or mix with fruit. You’re not supposed to take breakfast to your room, but they let me bring some to my father, a disabled vet who has trouble getting around. The staff are great. John, the guy with beautiful hair, goes out of his way to make me comfortable. Alex is wonderful too. I get to practice my Spanish with him, and you’d never guess from looking at him that he’s fluent. They’ll work with you if you just ask. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it.
