We only needed somewhere to spend the night because of the weather and car trouble. After finding a roach crawling on the microwave while we were eating dinner, we grabbed our things and left as fast as we could. We’d been there maybe two hours. The room had a floor that looked unvacuumed and multiple stains on the sheets. We told the woman at the desk, who didn’t apologize, and accepted the clean sheets she offered. Before that, she had also required a $150 deposit on top of the $85 room charge, in case something was damaged. When we came back from dinner and asked for a refund, she said the booking was nonrefundable, but said she’d inspect the room and return the deposit. She did return the $150, then told us her manager said nothing else could be done. The customer service was awful, and so was the cleaning. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. They can reply to my Google review, but they haven’t answered my multiple emails asking for a refund. Ridiculous.

Omarrio at the desk was great. He went out of his way to help with things that weren’t even his job, including bringing us clean hand towels and washcloths. We’ve stayed here several times without any room problems, but after this visit we won’t be back. Getting into the room was a struggle because our key failed three times, and the desk attendant had to come let us in. Then my husband found a dirty shirt behind the bathroom door. Used washcloths, hand towels, and soap were left on the sink, with no clean replacements. The room smelled like body odor and stale smoke, and there was garbage in the drawers. One receipt inside showed a check-in on November 20th and checkout on November 22nd. The cleaning staff clearly hadn’t done a good job. This was last night, and it’s put us off staying here again.

My husband’s birthday stay was ruined, and the next morning we had to rush to the ER after a severe asthma attack that we believe was triggered by the poor air in the room. We booked non-smoking, but it smelled strongly of cigarettes as soon as we entered. The carpet was foul, the place felt dirty, and we saw bugs and roaches. The bathroom ceiling was coming down, and the air conditioner looked filthy and long overdue for cleaning. At the desk, the staff were very rude and said there was nothing they could do. No fix and no refund. They also never offered us another room, despite what their reply says. Don’t be taken in by that, book somewhere else. This place is falling apart and was a serious health concern for us.

The staff were really friendly, and our room was clean. We had a great stay, and the location worked well for us. I’d recommend it and would come back.
