I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. The room itself was clean and nice, but the walls were so thin I could hear every cough and toilet flush from both neighboring rooms all night. Nobody was being especially loud, it just felt like I was in their room. The continental breakfast was a few coffee and hot chocolate packets and oatmeal, with no bowls, so I guess you’re meant to make oatmeal in a coffee cup. I wasn’t counting on breakfast, but it seemed odd. The woman working in the morning was nice; the person who checked me in was extremely rude. If you’re stuck without another option, it’s decent enough.

It was so quiet at night, and the location was handy, with Rasputin's Music, a thrift store, Best Buy, and a wine store right next door. I had a great stay. The staff were patient and really nice, even when I had to walk back to the lobby three times because I couldn't find my room. My room was clean and had a big bathroom and a stove. One staff member offered to bring me pots and pans. Laundry was $5 to wash and $5 to dry, and they let me bring my cat for $20. It had everything I could think of.

I’m on the road for business about 250 days a year, and the Pleasant Hill Extended Stay Hotel in California has been the best value I’ve found. The rooms are nice and the rates are reasonable, but the customer service is what really stands out. Rinshika, the Hotel General Manager, goes out of her way to make sure guests are treated well and have a good stay. I like the Extended Care Hotels generally, but this Pleasant Hill one is easily the best I’ve stayed at.

For a long time, this was home to me, not just a hotel. Everyone here treated me with respect, even though I’m different, and I won’t forget that. Raj, Mario, and Elena gave me so much kindness and support, and Z and Garrett at the front desk were lovely too. I’m grateful to all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Adam at the front desk was kind and friendly, and my wife and I felt comfortable staying here. She had just finished radiation for cancer and was able to relax. Our room had a kitchen, and the shower stayed hot through our long showers. We had a great stay and I recommend this place. Aaron
