AC Hotel by Marriott Pleasanton

I won’t stay here again. As of May 2026, desk chairs are first come, first served because the hotel sent its chairs out for repair, even though it promotes desk-equipped rooms to Workday employees and other business travelers. After I reminded the front desk three times to add my name to the list, the staff and managers on duty still didn’t seem to care. They could have offered a conference room chair or one from their office, but didn’t. Grace, the Sales Manager, called to explain and justify it, and offered 5,000 Marriott points for the inconvenience. She acknowledged my Lifetime Titanium Elite status means a lot, but if it did, someone would have found me a chair. Go to Target or order one on Amazon. Lazy, lazy, lazy.

We were left without a room on our wedding night, despite having paid for it. When my wife and I came back after the wedding, the hotel had checked us out without explanation, and we couldn’t get into our room. Staff had no reasonable account of how this happened. Our first night’s check-in had gone smoothly, and we’d booked two nights, the night before and the night of the wedding. We complained formally to Marriott soon afterward. They said someone would follow up, but nobody did, and the promised refund for the night we were wrongly removed from the room never came. This showed a serious failure of service, accountability, and basic operations. Be cautious if you’re considering this property, especially for an important occasion.

The staff were warm and professional, and they went out of their way to make the stay pleasant. I also liked the convenient amenities and calm atmosphere. AC Hotel Pleasanton is modern, stylish, and very clean, with comfortable, well-equipped rooms. I’d recommend it for a polished stay, whether you’re traveling for work or for fun.

My stay was pretty good. I’d just like brighter lighting in the rooms at night for guests who prefer a well-lit space. Other than that, a darker room can work for people who like it that way.
