The price was okay, but I guess you get what you pay for. There were no fitted sheets on either bed, the blankets had holes, and they left no toilet paper. Both towels were dirty. The walls had writing on them, and there were holes in the doors and walls. And the roaches, ugh.

We had a really nice weekend here the first time, and I would've given it five stars. But trying to book several rooms for a wedding party was a mess. Sometimes they took reservations over the phone, sometimes they didn't, and we were quoted different prices on different calls. Then the guy said we'd have to wait until we got into town to find out if anything was available, adding that there were other places to stay. We know. We booked ten rooms at a cheaper, nicer hotel instead. Maybe get it together and improve the customer service.

These cabins are a really cool little find, and they have wifi for people who can't leave their computers alone. A day is a bit pricey, but staying a week or longer gets you a great deal. I'll stay here again when I'm back in this part of the country.

The customer service was the worst part, even more than the awful room. I checked in today because the Poteet Strawberry Festival meant this was the only place within 30 miles of Pleasanton with availability. At first glance, the room seemed good enough for one night, and we were in a rush, so I booked it and left for about 45 minutes. When I came back, only one of four ceiling fan bulbs worked and it was so dark I could barely see. Once I tried to open the blinds, I saw the filthy floor, a dead roach on my pillow, and mouse droppings everywhere. The blinds were broken and caked with dust and grime, so I couldn't open them. I couldn't stand even one night in there. I locked up, returned the key, and was told there'd be no refund, even though I never used the room and less than an hour had passed since booking. I said fine, but I still wasn't staying. On my way out, stray cats were gnawing on a huge meaty bone. I couldn't drive away fast enough. I'm more upset about losing $89 and being told, "sorry, no refund," than I am about the nasty room itself. I'm enjoying a luxurious room in South San Antonio right now, 40 miles away, for only $20 more than Oasis Lodge. Smh.

The people were friendly and the place was nice, but we had evacuated for hurricane Harvey and paid for three days. We went home after one night, and they wouldn't refund the third day.
