The staff were great, and the casino next door was fun, though crowded. The room had a loud AC and a shower that didn't really work for anyone over 5'6", but that wasn't the reason we came to the area. We were here for wine country and maybe some sightseeing in the surrounding towns. If you're after luxury, a BnB in Sutter Creek or a rental house in the nearby housing track would suit better. Still, I had a good experience.

The location worked well, right at Acorn Ridge Casino and near wineries, a store, and gas. The pool and BBQ area were nice, though the hot tub apparently wasn't working that day. The renovated rooms had attractive finishes, but the decor felt a bit sterile and the couch wasn't comfortable.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and restaurants and the Casino were an easy walk away. Staff made the stay especially pleasant with warm greetings and lots of willingness to help.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and access to the wineries is hard to beat. Rooms have been updated and are roomy and comfortable, with practical furniture. Keep in mind there is no elevator, room doors open to the outside, and onsite amenities are limited. Still, there's a 24-hour market just down the road and a few places to eat nearby. A perfect spot for Amador County wine trips.

A few of us were in town for a wedding and stayed here. None of us had any real problems. The rooms were clean, we all slept well, and the staff were really pleasant and personable. I usually find something to complain about in hotel rooms, but there wasn't much here. The hot tub wasn't working, but honestly it didn't really bother me, lol.
