The people here have supported me through some hard times, and I’ve met so many genuinely good people during my stay. When you’re down on your luck and living like I have, finding people who care means a lot. Thank you to the staff and everyone here, especially Cindy, whose kindness and friendliness inspired me to do what I did. The front desk and room service people are amazing, so nice and accommodating. The rooms on a Budget are good, and I can stay anywhere. I only wish you had a full kitchen for quests, which I’d be willing to work for. Hats off to you all. I can’t complain about the people here.

We stayed one night in two rooms while visiting family, and they kindly gave us ground-floor rooms because we had two dogs, including a very elderly one. The rooms seemed clean apart from some issues in both: dust covered the fan vent, there were mold spots all over the bathroom ceiling, and there was a smell that seemed like it might be from someone smoking something. There was rust on the lamp as well. The rust and mold make me think there’s a moisture or humidity problem, and cleaning the vent cover might help. The mold needs to be dealt with. The beds are true doubles, and the mattresses were horrible, the worst I’ve slept on while traveling. They should have been replaced quite a while ago. Without the mold and bad beds, I would have given another star.

I’ve left plenty of reviews over the years and never a negative one, but this has left my heart hurting. I accidentally set my phone to auto-reset at 4am while it was updating apps or something, and a reservation got made for Plymouth instead of the Red Roof Inn in Clinton township where my 7yr old and I have been staying for eight months. I’m a single mother waiting on housing, and my family is in canton, where I grew up. My dad helps with the cost while I manage a restaurant and waitress, since money gets hard at times. I paid $155.00 thinking it was for the place we’re already at, where all my daughter’s things are apart from storage. I’ve never needed to change the location before, since it stays saved to the hotel I use. When I saw the Plymouth reservation, I had only $46 to my name until work the next morning. I needed things for my daughter and her field trip, so I had to borrow more from my dad to pay for the room I’m staying in through the end of dec. I hope to get something back before Xmas. Priceline said it’s basically in Red Roof’s hands and they could allow a refund. I spent two days trying to reach Diane the GM and left two voicemails, basically begging for help and some understanding. I know she isn’t obligated to cancel it because I didn’t pay the cancellation fee, and I take responsibility for my part. But she never called me back. It’s the same hotel, just a different location, and I wish a transfer or even a half refund had been possible. More people should be understanding about misinformation and mistakes. Maybe $155.00 is nothing to HER, but to me it’s taking money from my daughter’s Christmas, which I already feel sick about. Pure greed.

They remodeled the exterior, and it looks beautiful. The grounds are always kept up, and the management went above and beyond for guests. Most of all, we were treated so well while the improvements were happening. The staff here are amazing. Wonderful place to stay.

I’m visiting from Ontario, Canada, and the hospitality here has been top-notch. The customer service is amazing, and my room was perfect, even for someone like me who’s a bit particular about tidiness. I’ll definitely come back and look forward to doing business with you guys again soon.
