The room was clean and comfortable, with hardwood floors and the smell of fresh paint. I liked the two-tone emerald green and sage chairs, one rolling and one stationary. When we needed towels, management responded quickly, and check-in was easy. Trust the process, and don't judge by the cover. I recommend staying here. There was a mini fridge, microwave, full-length mirror, two Direct TV remotes, free Wi-Fi, and a touchscreen bathroom mirror. No iron or blow dryer. The ice machine and vending machine are by the office.

Almost midnight, with nowhere planned to stop, I called the Sportsman Inn after realizing I'd overestimated how far I could drive. They got me checked in quickly and smoothly, even that late. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable, and the AC was great. I'd stay here again.

The parking lot fills up with trucks and trailers, as the place seems popular with people fishing. They are renovating, but when we mentioned our problems, we got a polite smile and an 'oh well' look. The room was small, mostly bed, the floors were dirty, and our bath mat had muddy boot prints. The bathroom outlet didn't work.

A friendly, polite, and efficient front desk manager made a good impression. The hotel is clean and conveniently close to town, and the rooms are in nice shape. I'd recommend it and would stay again.

Kay, the owner, was very friendly and hospitable, and his wife was kind and helpful too. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and exceptionally clean, with a picnic spot and BBQ grills. We had plenty of grassy space to walk our dog. My husband and I came from Connecticut and stayed four nights. Our room was spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. Highly recommend it, more than five stars if I could.
