I wouldn't come back, even if the other option cost more. The place feels old and run-down, and the shared areas were quite dirty. There was an unpleasant smell throughout, and the walls are so thin you hear everything. Breakfast was the usual free-hotel spread, but lower quality than most.

The sheets and pillowcases were very clean, and the room had all the basic incidentals stocked. Service from the staff was amazing, and my stay was good. I did have a late-night check-in that was meant to get a $10 discount, but booking online didn't apply it.

My wife and I had booked a weekend as a treat for her mother's 80th birthday, and we were severely disappointed. Our plans changed, so I called to cancel. The website said cancellation was free up to 24 hours ahead, and they did cancel the booking, but said there'd be no refund because we had paid online through the best western app. The person on the phone was rude, and the manager wasn't helpful either. We're waiting for corporate to look into it.

The gentlemen working at the property were respectful and compassionate. My experience with the women I dealt with was very different, and the whole situation left me extremely unsatisfied with the service and the lack of resolution. I hadn't checked out yet when I went to get breakfast. When I returned, Ashley had stripped the room and taken my belongings, including my medication, without checking that I had left. The head housekeeper, who wouldn't give me her name, treated me as if I was the problem for coming back. She said it was policy and they had the right to do it. I then spoke with the hotel manager, Chance Summers. She apologized but defended her employees, saying they could do this and that I might be surprised by what people leave behind. Other guests leaving things doesn't give them the right to take my belongings or check me out early based on an assumption. I asked for a refund for the time I hadn't used. The manager wouldn't resolve it with a refund there and instead offered to email me about a discount on a future full-price stay.
