Pelican Point Motel

This was our second stay and we still love the place. Denise was great, and Taylor was super helpful when I spoke with them. The pool is nice, and it's an easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. The beds are a little hard on my back, but the A.c was great in our room. We'll keep coming back.

I chatted with two people who worked there, and I think one of them was the owner. Both were so friendly that I could've happily stayed and talked longer. They make an effort to accommodate all guests, including families with children, which I really appreciated. It's in an excellent location, and I'll definitely stay again.

Pelican Point feels like having your own little cottage by the beach, and the place was spotless. It's steps from Jenkinson’s, a great base for all things Jersey shore. Denise, the owner, is personable and makes sure people have a happy, safe stay. The private pool on the property is a welcome way to beat the heat. There are options for one person or a group of eight, so it can fit different needs. I'd always recommend Pelican Point to friends and family.

Free parking was a big plus, even when we were leaving that day and wanted to stay a little later. The motel is half a block from the beach and local restaurants, and they offer discounted beach passes, cash only. Everyone working there was so sweet. I joked about having to buy sweatpants quickly because of hurricane Erin, and one of them said they had a bag of clothes and could've given me a pair. This will definitely be my go-to spot in the future.
