Quality Inn & Suites Meridian - West Boise

Do not book here. They advertise as pet friendly, so I made a reservation, then found out they don't accept cats. I tried to cancel less than five minutes after the email came through. The Priceline representative said the manager would refund me the next day, but the General Manager said the booking couldn't be refunded. I stayed calm and just wanted to understand why they said pet friendly when they only take dogs, but I was hung up on three times. I'm a traveling nurse and have never had this problem. I won't use Choice Hotel or Quality Inn again, and I was even planning to join their time share. Refusing to refund $115 cost them a few thousand from that time share. Bad business.

The value was amazing, especially with Christmas coming up, when everything else was much pricier. They still had a decent rate and good service. The location is convenient for several local attractions, and the breakfast was pretty good. I went with my girl and had a good stay.

The beds were a plus, and the rooms were clean and good, even if they're not as modern as a Marriott. Staff were friendly and helpful, and restaurants were an easy walk away. The location worked well for what we needed, and I had a good time here.

My friend Tyson C. and I had been looking for rooms about a month back. We were exhausted that night and having trouble with our credit cards and the app, so we sat in the lobby trying to sort it out and talked with the new graveyard shift guy, who was from Vegas. He was nice. A few hours later he called the owner down from his room on site to help at the desk. The owner came into the lobby and was rude, telling us, "You're still here. Leave now or I'll have you trespassed or call the police." Choose another hotel. It sounds like he doesn't need the money.
