We were worn out from driving all day, so the freeway noise came across like white noise, and even as a light sleeper I had no trouble. The parking lot was well lit, which made walking to and from the car feel safe. We were comfortable leaving our small U-Haul there too. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the building fairly new. There’s a pool with handicap facilities. A good choice for an overnight stop off I-20, better than most highway hotels I’ve stayed at.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast and coffee were very good. I’m not keen on the reduced supply of some things, especially the in-room coffee. I like waking up and having a cup in bed.

We arrived really late, but Ash at the front desk was pleasant and brought us towels and linens for the pullout sleeper. The room was very clean, and even the lobby smelled clean. Breakfast was good, and I have no complaints. The stay met our expectations, and other hotels could learn from this example.

Check-in was easy, and the hotel was super clean with no unpleasant smells. Smoking and pets aren’t allowed. The king bed was comfortable, and the shower was big and nice. Breakfast was great, especially the egg white and vegetable omelette.

Breakfast was tasty, and the gym had good equipment. We stayed five days over Thanksgiving, and after that long I wished the buffet had more variety, though it was good. Our room was clean and quiet, and housekeeping and maintenance came promptly when the fridge needed fixing. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. It was my first visit to Meridian, and such a delight. I’ll be back next Thanksgiving!
