Our first-floor unit had a constant breeze and lovely ocean sounds, and the snorkeling right out front was great. The lawn was awesome, and fresh towels were ready. The location was incredible. We stayed for a week, but only one of the beach access stairs was open. You'd think they could have set up something temporary.

The only real downside was some road noise from Poipu Road, since our building was close to it. I played a green noise YouTube video at night, and then had no trouble sleeping. Otherwise, this resort was great for a long stay. The room was spacious, with a large lanai and comfortable bed, and the kitchen had plenty of cooking gear. Parking was easy, the grounds were fantastic, and there were two big gardens, one tropical and one with succulents. The beach area was good too. I highly recommend the resort.

The staff are friendly and professional, and they keep the property pristine inside and out. The location is hard to beat, with all sorts of wonderful amenities on site. The rental condos are fantastic, clean, and laid out well, with plenty of amenities whether you like to cook or eat out every meal. You won't be disappointed staying here.

I really enjoyed staying at Kiahuna Plantation Resort Kauai by OUTRIGGER. The grounds are lush and feel like a tropical garden, and the incredible location right by the water meant I could wake up and walk straight to the beach. The condo gave me plenty of room to spread out on a longer trip. It's a bit older, but that suited the classic, relaxed Hawaiian feel I was after.

Our condo was a quick walk from the beach, and shopping and dining were easy to reach on foot too. My family loved our vacation here. Not every condo has air conditioning, but ours did, which was a really nice surprise.
