Loved having a washer and dryer, and a kitchen with utensils. A mattress topper or rolled cushion would help as extra bedding. Light sleepers should know the place isn't very soundproof. We heard noise from upstairs, especially kids running around. It's a great spot for sunrise and sunset. Go through the gate by the pool, cross the road, and take the short trail. There's also easy walking access to the beach by Sheraton.

We stayed in the oceanfront units, so I can only speak for those. The view was the best I've ever had in Hawaii. We usually choose resorts, but this was better value and more convenient. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, so we could make breakfast instead of spending $50 on resort eggs. The pool was a bit sad, and people sometimes park across the street and play music, which is kind of annoying, but neither was a deal breaker.

Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves was amazing. Everyone was so nice, and even on a cloudy day it was beautiful outside.

Our elementary-aged kids had a perfect stay. The condo was modern, updated, and spotless, even behind the furniture. The kitchen was very well stocked with nice dishes, and the beds were super comfy with nice linens. From the grass, we could walk straight to the pool. With the windows open, we could hear the surf and feel the breeze, then cool down at night with powerful AC. We loved the beautiful pool, which we mostly shared with just one or two other families. We worried about street party noise, but this was our second stay on this road. One night there was a police presence, which kept the noise down, and the trucks dispersed by 8 pm. We didn't get direct oceanfront, but still had a view. For sunset, it's always a short walk to the beach. The property's amenities far outweigh that one issue.
