The room itself was comfortable and the hotel is in a great location, but we were locked out three separate times during our three-day Valentine’s getaway. Every time, we had to go down to the front desk. The first incident was worst: the maintenance worker brought up the wrong device twice, leaving us outside for about 30 minutes when we urgently needed to retrieve something. Alexa at the front desk seemed uninterested and showed little empathy. Even after we explained that the same issue had happened the day before and that we were in a rush, she made us answer six verification questions. I understand security checks, but her attitude made an already frustrating situation worse. Stephanie, the manager, was understanding and helpful when we spoke, and handled things professionally. The property is beautiful, and the rooms are nice, but service needs work, especially given we spent close to $1,000 for a special trip. Management should improve training and hire people who are more attentive and responsive. Stephanie can’t be there every day.

The front desk staff were great. They offered to waive my parking, but since my company was paying, I asked if they could charge me and give me points instead. For two nights of parking at $22 a night, they gave me 5,000 points. The hotel is dated, as are the rooms, and Sheraton properties have never really been my favorite. I was upgraded to a corner balcony suite. It was a bit smaller than the regular rooms, though all the rooms are suites, and I loved the secluded balcony. It was 83 degrees in January, so I got to use it. I heard they’re planning a remodel in 2027. Housekeeping missed the bath mat, and there was only one cup of decaf, no regular coffee. Little things, but annoying. The coffee came with those tacky packets of dried creamer and Sweet’N Low instead of real creamers. The ice machine on the top floor was broken and nobody seemed concerned. In a convention hotel with one set of elevators, it was a hassle to find another working machine on the far side of the building. I’d probably stay again.

We were there for my granddaughter’s wedding and had a great stay. The suite was comfortable, and we had pleasant meals in the restaurant. Service was good from check-in through the valet who helped me to my room, and the housekeeping team. There was lots of parking too. I recommend giving it a try.

I came for a conference and was given a room near the elevator. The noise was clear every few seconds and kept me awake. I’m up at 5 a.m. every day once the elevator gets busy. The manager wouldn’t move me and only offered earplugs. My colleague had the same problem, so staff seem to know this affects rooms by the elevator, especially on lower floors. You can also hear people talking in the hallway clearly. They need to fix the elevator or improve the soundproofing. The hotel’s infrastructure seems poor, and I don’t recommend it.

The rooms were beautiful and clean, and we were comfortable. Even when staff were busy, they took care of us without rushing. The staff were awesome!
