There’s a small ocean-facing balcony with each unit, and the building has parking and a heated pool. Our two-bedroom condo was practical for the Daytona stay, and the spot was quiet with direct beach access. Rentals are available by the day, week, or month through the main office.
The no-drive beach is beautiful, and the heated pool was nice. We were in Unit 402, which had a good beach view for a reasonable price. The balcony is small, though they made smart use of the space with the furniture. It was very hot and humid, and the air conditioning didn't seem to keep up with the humidity. My skin felt clammy until we used the freestanding dehumidifier from the closet. That made the condo comfortable. I'd stay again if I couldn't find a unit with a larger balcony.
The view is hard to beat, though the building and condos seem a bit worn. I visited a friend who was staying there. Work on the parking garage had been going on for the last two years. I know there was a hurricane recently, and I'm sure it slowed progress by making workers harder to find.
The beach was pleasant and not too busy when we visited, and the condo building itself is quiet. Some things are older, but still nice. It's a pretty good choice for a slower trip away from the more touristy Daytona area.
