The room was huge, with lots of space, and felt very clean and new. We also liked the pullout bed in the couch. My son especially loved the fireplaces, and check-in was easy and quick. The swimming area was warm, and breakfast was good. I liked the oatmeal toppings. I've stayed at the Ruby Hotel in town, and it's okay, but this hotel is a lot better. I'd wanted to try it, and it didn't disappoint.

We've been coming here for the past four years to snowboard at Schwietzer, and the staff remember us when we arrive. The rooms are clean with nice amenities, and the gym has what you need for a quick workout on vacation. After a day on the slopes, the pool and jacuzzi are great. There's free breakfast before you head out for more loops. Highly recommend.

Everyone on staff was great. Trevor at the front desk was really kind, and Dave, who was working the evening bar, was professional, personable, and always on top of things. We had a great time getting to know him a little while playing card games. He even did a small magic trick for us. Such a friendly, great guy!

The GM was so friendly and managed to get us an early check-in. The hotel felt warm and inviting, with fireplaces going and lots of nice spots to sit. Our room was clean and spacious, even the closet had plenty of room, and breakfast in the morning was great. We only stayed briefly in Sandpoint, but really enjoyed the hotel and are planning to return to explore the area more.

The manager said, on his own, that he'd credit us for how we were treated that night, but he never followed through or made things right. The woman at the night front desk was extremely rude and seemed untrained. As a Marriott rewards member, I expected the kind of quality experience that's usually the norm with Marriott. They also charge for parking, apparently the only hotel to do so within a hundred miles or more. I stay in Sandpoint about 40 nights a year and won't come back. Go a block south to the Best Western, where I've always had a great experience.
