Hampton Inn & Suites Bloomfield Hills Detroit

We usually stay here for the indoor pool, clean rooms, and good breakfast. The one reason for four stars is that the hot water for tea is ALWAYS out. I've stayed four times, and it's been the same every time. Staff seem surprised whenever we ask. I don't run into this at other Hilton Properties. Smh!

For eleven straight days, I was effectively evicted from my home while an estate services team handled the estate sale. I expected the business staycation to add more hassle to an already unpleasant process, but my stay was the polar opposite of unpleasant. General Manager Mr. Savio Kaliana has put together a fantastic team who made the time truly enjoyable. On day three, I told Mr. Kaliana that if he was responsible for hiring, he should keep using whatever system brought these people on board. I highly recommend this hotel, location, and team for business or pleasure.

We left a pink portable charger plugged into the wall and called before the room was cleaned. We were at a gymnastics meet, and stopped back when it ended to ask whether room service had found it. They said they hadn't, and wouldn't let us look in the room even though it had been cleaned. Hope service enjoys the charger.

Check-in was super easy, and the place was super clean and nice. Loved the breakfast too. The only problem was that the shampoo, conditioner, and soap bottles attached to the wall were empty. 💗
