Quality Inn Pontiac

I booked two nights and added travel insurance. When my car broke down, I called that same day to cancel and let them know what had happened. They refused any refund and kept the full amount, even though the policy was to forfeit only the first night as a cancellation fee. Beware of Booking.com. What’s the point of buying travel insurance? Thieves!

I called to ask about the amenities, but the front desk person didn’t introduce himself and hung up right away after speaking with an accent. I called back and asked for a manager or supervisor, and he said nobody was available. He answered a few questions through his teeth. I’d had enough of his attitude and hung up. Remarkable staffing choice.

The rooms and seating are nice, and the breakfast is small but workable. The hotel has been renovated recently, and everything looks clean, fresh, and updated, with nice finishes and furniture. It feels modern throughout and the prices are reasonable. We’ll stay again.

The staff were so friendly and made me feel welcome the whole time. My room was neat, clean, and luxurious, and breakfast had an excellent variety of choices. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the hotel for its hospitality and service.
