The room was clean, and the bed felt soft but still comfortable. Check-in was easy, and the front desk clerk was very nice. We were on the second floor, which was quiet except for a strange noise from the AC unit. The shower had plenty of hot water. Bring your own shampoo and body wash if you want more than a little bar of soap. Breakfast was basic: waffles you make yourself, instant oatmeal, cereal, muffins or powdered donuts, coffee, milk, and OJ. We picked this place at the last minute. It’s no frills, but if you don’t need lots of amenities at a name brand hotel, it works fine. Clean was what mattered most to us.

I slept so well in the very clean room. It was peaceful enough that I wanted to add another night just to get that sleep again. The front desk staff were accommodating too: I arrived a day before check-in and, with a few adjustments, they found me a room. The location is convenient, with pretty much everything just a short drive away. Only downside was the faded sign outside, which needs repainting.

It’s about a 30-minute drive from Savannah, but I thought staying here was worth it. The price was reasonable, and the service felt personal, with people making an effort to meet my comfort needs. I had a great stay.

I accidentally left my iPad behind when I checked out, and they called me within an hour or two to let me know. The front desk staff were kind and attentive, and the place was very clean. Breakfast was limited, but the nightly price was great.
