Sonu made check-in feel like being welcomed into somebody’s home. He was professional, kind, and respectful from the moment I arrived, and even offered warm chocolate chip cookies. After a long day, that little gesture meant a lot. His hospitality set a great tone for my stay, and Baymont Hotel is lucky to have him. I’ll definitely be back.

The breakfast was my favorite part, an easy 10/10. Our room was very clean, smelled nice, and had a really comfortable bed. Everyone was kind and helpful during our stay, especially Sonu (I hope I spelled his name right). We’re very grateful for how much he helped us.

I came to visit my daughter at college and stayed at Baymont Port Arthur/ Groves from February 18th - 20th. The room was great, with a comfy king size bed, the usual amenities, and free breakfast. The tub was clean and white as snow. Sonu checked me in, offered an inside room near the front desk, then promptly checked that I was happy with it and said he’d gladly move me if I wasn’t. The staff were incredible and made me feel like family. I had trouble figuring out the TV, but Alicia, who’d only been on the job two days, came right over and worked out the problem. With the Olympics on, I really wanted to watch, and Ms. Jackson gave Alicia the time she needed to fix it. While she worked, Ms. Jackson let me watch in the kitchen area so I wouldn’t miss anything. Sonu, Alicia, and Ms. Jackson were an incredible team. I just love them. It’s an affordable hotel, and I’ll definitely stay here on future trips to port Arthur. Thanks to the staff for all their kindness. I’ll see you again.

After a long day in town, I needed somewhere peaceful to rest, and this was the first hotel I came across. SONU at the front desk helped me with everything and kept making sure I had what I needed. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast had lots of choices and tasted great, and the GYM!! is awesome, easy and comfortable to work out in. I’ll be coming back.

The prices at Baymont hotel are quite reasonable, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff and Employees were friendly and nice, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection too, with eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereal, orange juice, and coffee 😊
