The pool looked heated, was clean, and had a nice little area to hang out. There’s also a designated smoking spot, and the hotel is close to lots of places. Breakfast had a good mix of fresh fruit and hot food, and the woman running it kept everything spotless. The cleaning crew were busy all the time, even wiping down the trash bins. We stayed two nights. The bathroom was clean, the sheets were fresh, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. I did notice the floors needed mopping, which stood out since I always wear socks in hotels. Everything else was good, and the staff were very accommodating. I’d stay again.

The room looked great overall, and the bed was a good size. But the floors were so dirty that I noticed it most when I got out of the shower. I like walking barefoot, and that was unpleasant.

Last December, the curtain in our room had fallen down, leaving the window uncovered. The receptionist said they couldn’t fix it and had no other room for us because the hotel was fully booked. I asked for a refund since we couldn’t sleep that way, but we’d booked through a third party, so the hotel said I had to contact them. I did, and they tried to reach the hotel too, without success. The hotel never replied to my emails or contacted me about it. Treating guests this way is ridiculous, especially when the problem is the hotel falling apart. I’d tell anyone looking for a place nearby to choose another hotel. This one isn’t worth the money.

Check-in was easy, thanks to the friendly, professional staff. The room was spotless and clearly well cared for, with a fresh smell to it. I also liked the welcoming scent in the lobby and the cookies at the front desk. I was very happy with my stay and would gladly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable visit.
